Sun, 16 March 2008 The week's shipping list didn't look that exciting, but actually provided a lot of gems that really knocked my proverbial socks off. Perhaps shining the brightest was Thunderbolts #119 - how can you not get excited by Swordsman exploding Venom? Perhaps a little more on the G-rated end, Avengers Fairy Tales #1 wonderfully kicks off the mini-series in as much a whimsical fashion to almost be my book of the week. Shoot, Wolverine #63 and Mighty Avengers #10 weren't really slouches either. Perhaps some of that energy could have rubbed off to Countdown #7, which left me wondering where we're headed in this series. Same thing with Avengers Initiative #10, but in a good way. Amazing Spider-Man #553 shows that I have no heart when it comes to mutated freaks. Fantastic Four #555 teaches us that the 2018 editorial staff at Marvel has some retcons to do, and finally, Green Lantern Corps #22 wasn't anywhere close to as bad as I may have thought.Happy St. Patty's day comic fans. -- Click here to subscribe to the podcast in iTunes & write us a review -- Join the discussions on the Kwok Talk forums!
